This website is a demo playground for the Trackback Joomla extension. You can send trackbacks to and from this site for testing purposes. Every day at 24:00 the site is reset to its original state.
How it works
Log into the frontend using the username "demo", password "demo". There are several articles in the "Weblog" section. Click on any of these articles to view it. You will notice a text edit field above the article which allows you to send trackbacks to other sites (they usually expect you to actually link to their pages in the article, so for testing purposes you can send trackbacks from one of the articles to another). Enter the "trackback link" you want to refer to into the edit field and click on "send trackback". You find the trackback links for the Joomla articles below the article text. The trackback component itself can do much more, it can send automatic trackbacks when a new article is saved, or it can send pingbacks. Received trackbacks are spam-checked vie akismet or botscout. Here on the Demo Site, incoming trackbacks are (unless considered spam) published immediately.
